I spent this morning cleaning.

Matt thanks again for the ride, I owe you one. Your boat is awsome. How much did you get done on Texpow motors?
Your boat makes the F-350 look like a toy. Hee!

TexomaPowerboater 04-06-2009 08:45 AM

Yeah thanks for the ride Matt. We got most of the motors put together. Still need to do the oil system and a few other odds and ends. Got the engine bay primed. I feel like I got dropped off a bridge. Didn't leave the lake until 9:00 last night.

DareDevil 04-06-2009 08:51 AM

Pictures of the progress would be nice Andy !!:ernaehrung004:

Lake Texoma Fun Run April 18th//Texas Boating Magazine Fun Run Club

Fun Run at Lake Texoma April 18th hope every one can make it

April Newsletter

We would like to start off by saying “Thank You, Thank You, Thank You” to all who attended and participated in the “Fun Run” on March 28th at Eagle Mountain Lake . Despite the bad weather, Fun was had by All!! I had someone suggest we should rename this event “The Polar Run”.

A special thanks to Marina Del , a Tex-Mex & Seafood Restaurant. This new restaurant at Eagle Mountain Marina allowed the Texas Boating Magazine “Fun Run Club” to host our event indoors. They provided the opportunity to raise money and have a silent auction for “The BMF Project” and “US Coast Guard Auxiliary.” Marina Del easily accommodated the 100+ participants for this event. I highly recommend The Marina Del Restaurant to host any event on Eagle Mountain Lake .

We are getting excited about our 2nd event at Lake Texoma , on April 18th. The Fun begins at registration on Friday evening, April 17th. Regretfully, we can’t attend “The Texas Outlaw Challenge” in Kemah , Texas . We wish our fellow boaters a Fun & Safe event down South. For those of you not headed to Kemah, come join the Fun at Lake Texoma . We will be supporting “The BMF Project.”

Be sure to call or e-mail information on any upcoming event for the Texas Fun Run Club. You can join the club at www.texasboating.com. We are going to have a great 2009 Boating Season.

T-shirts are now available for order online.

See you on the Water!!
Andrea

LOL, I think he's working for a free place to stay all summer.:drink:

Words cannot express how thankful I am that he is helping me with this project. Before the new years I hadn't even ordered a part before, much less fix ANYTHING. He has pretty much taken this project by the horns and I'm just along for the ride - learning everything I can. He never asked for anything in return, but I'll be indebted forever. Big, big thanks Matt.

Viperfitness1 04-06-2009 05:15 PM

well damn matt! come finish mine up too!!!

TxHawk 04-06-2009 08:01 PM

Im having fun with it. Its pretty fun to go shopping on someone elses nickle. Let me know when I wound you Andy.

DareDevil 04-06-2009 09:43 PM

Engines look nice !!!

Hey matt ,,maybe we should open a boat rigging and repair shop at the lake !!!!!

When we close on the weekends we could go racing .LOL:ernaehrung004:

Sirius?!

Velocity Vector 04-06-2009 09:49 PM

You guy's make me proud, When I left you two the other night. I said to myself they are going right back to the bar. How easy would that have been. Good job looks like they are pretty much buckeled up.

Calling for mid 70's and sunny Saturday. Who is going to be out?

I will be late, I don't back from California until late Friday night!

Stefin298 04-14-2009 02:43 PM

Any of you guys going to Lake Havasu PR next weekend? I might be out west for business and am thinking of sticking around for the weekend if I can hitch a ride on a boat.

PM me if you are. I'd pick-up the drink tab to a point!!! And pitch in for fuel...

Matt, Did you get wet or sit @ the bar? We had 60 mph gust here at the rig.

TxHawk 04-20-2009 09:01 AM

I did not even see my boat this weekend. I hitched a ride.

johnnyboatman 04-20-2009 07:25 PM

wheres all the pics

OkieTunnel 04-22-2009 07:42 PM

Did the fun run happen? a month or so ago I thought I would be there but forgot I had a convention in Dallas. I keep most things off the calender in the summer months for the "fun" events. Any details? I hope it was a decent turnout. I dont want them to back out of putting on later events that I "can" attend.

TxHawk 05-02-2009 09:28 AM

This is sad... Where is everybody.

The first season that I have been ready to go early, and no one is around and the weather SUCKS!

If it doesnt quit raining, memorial day weekend could be ugly.

cigracing1 05-02-2009 10:17 AM

I'm here. Went fishing this morning we caught about 50 and frying them up tonight.

Looks like Walts down and has the shop door open where his Excalibur is.

TxHawk 05-02-2009 11:12 AM

Sounds fun.

Ya, he called me yesterday. He is trying to change distributors. Do you know a mechanic you trust over there thay can go help him? He called me asking if the heads were milled because the distributor would not go all the way down!!! I told him that after that, it was time to call for help!!

He needs to just have Turner take to Legends and have Donny look at. You always have Bobby at Solder Creek but i'm not going any further with that on a recomendation.

Stefin298 05-04-2009 10:02 AM

Any body going to Lake Hubbard next weekend for the poker run?

damon 05-04-2009 06:09 PM

Is that Primos sponsored?

Stefin298 05-05-2009 10:47 AM

It is one of the sponsors. On another forum they said there were 50-60 boats last year.

OkieTunnel 05-06-2009 08:14 PM

Has anybody talked to viperfitness in awhile? I heard he has some engines I may have an interest in but I dont have his number.

Velocity Vector 05-08-2009 11:02 PM

Is Texoma still there?

TexomaPowerboater 05-10-2009 11:27 AM

Yep, still there. I was there friday and saturday. The lake is high and still inching up. Couple of boat ramps still open. Lots of debri still in the water - which I suspect will continue until the rivers die down. Saw a few boaters out and about - mostly fisherman.
