New Hazards in Lake Pontchatrain

Just a heads up to everyone running the east part of Lake P between Hwy. 11 bridge and Twin Spans. Boh Bros. is at it again. There are 14 new steel pilings sticking up between the two bridges. There are 4 just off the entrance to Edin Isles and 4 more almost in line with the draw at Hwy 11 coming from Edin Isles. The others are scattered around tword the south shore. They are said to be lit up, but the light is as bright as a single burning match. Last time I was out the ones just off of Edin Isles entrance had no lights at all. Just be careful if you are headed in after dark.. They will sneak up on you.

(Let's not even talk about the other side of the new bridge!)
