Drving backfrom Florida friday...there saturday!

I'd like to be there but the sincity trip is confirmed.

The Sunsation Team will be there with the Ilmor F-4 and we have customers with a F-4 a 36' and a 32' confirmed. Looking forward to this run.

Thought I was going to be able to make it but everyone backed out.. Didn't wanna make the tow down solo!

We're not gonna make it either, just sold our ride.......

Chris-when is the Sunsation crew arriving? You guys need to get a 28' or more 32's down here, only know of one 2007 32' w/525's in the area.

Saw the two F4's, the Ilmor boat flew past us on the bay doing about 95-100 mph with 6 guys on board:eek::eek::eek:

was in the bay just come out of topwater when the pack come by all i got to say is dam there was some fast bad boy s out there feels funny to get past when your gonig 70 and there going a 120 +

They had a 22' donzi that couldn't be touched. That thing needs an award.

The event was a big sucess. 85 boats participated. Top speed was posted by howard davis at 169 MPH in a 43 ft motion cat. I won the 26 to 31 ft class at 136 MPH with full tanks of gas in my 31 AO . could have gone a little faster but the water was rough and didn't want to push it. best I remember the next fastest speed to howard was Bo Rising from La with a m 35 DCB with 1200 HP Teagues at 154 mph and then I think it was richie prince with a 36 MTI at 152 MPH. Can' sware by these speeds but it is the best I can remember.

You must have seen the Skater"Category 4", 42' Fountain and red Scarab pulling out of topwater, was'nt even an official stop from what I was told but a few people ended up there anyway.

Howard wouldnt know chit it it wasnt for Art Dinick....

Those LA boys are fast fast fast. The ol' chicken man would have loved to be there. I had a ride in one of Al's turbine Skaters in 2000 back when I lived in Lakeview.
What engine shop are you guys using? There used to be a guy on Williams Blvd. Is he still there?

Two of the boats from La. (No Plans, Red Rocket) were Precision Marine Power and and a few others use out there use them for rebuild or repair. They are around the Loyola Exit in Richland, not sure if that is who your thinking of. They do good work ,I have been very satisfied.

Yes I believe it was Precision Marine. Someone from here has used them. I really enjoyed living in N.O. but I got a job in Houston. Used to watch the sun come up at Fitzgeralds...
