Contraband days anyone??
 

Anyone here do the Contraband days run? We leave out from the Beaumont Yacht Club on Friday and head over to Lake Charles on a fun filled trip. First weekend of May.

First weekend of May is the Tickfaw 200, so everyone I know will be attending that instead of Contraband. I would like to attend it if it were on a different weekend.

Yeah lots of people do Tickfaw I know...sure wish the events werent on the same weekend.

I thought Contraband Days was 2 weekends in a row. Maybe I am wrong.

Yeah it is usually the first two weekends in May. A few years back it fell on the last weekend in april but most of the time in may. If we don't get beat up to bad at the Tickfaw 200 we sometimes go the next weekend to Contraband days. The Texas boys usually brings a pack of boats and have a party at the hotel on the Bayou. We have been there before and its a good time.

Yeah its a heck of a good time...we go the first weekend so that we are back home for Mothers Day....gotta spend time with mom...lol

Cant commit to much... my boat isnt completed yet.

The Big Tubes and 5" pipes are not working out... Im hunting another set of E-tops and going back with 4" the pipes are getting made Sunday.... Im still pushing on it

I am finally getting my boat back together as well. Everything will be new on the motors except the alternators. I would have gotten them new too but I ran out of funds, for right now, LOL.
