Just did a quick YouTube search, this found this video on a company that trains how to. I also remember an Orange County Choppers episode when they did this to one of their frames.

Kind of amazing how they can do this.

Now that is really something! How long can it last?!

That's the big question. How durrable and how long will it last? I keep the boat covered and inside a storage unit so the sun wouldn't hit it that often. If they're dipping fenders on ATV's, guns, body parts on jet ski's and such then it should work on a dash pannels.

I wonder once it gets dipped are you able to put a clear coat on it? I would think that could help make it last a little longer if you're doing your gauge panel.

It's pretty rugged, some folks have done their Rzr's and side by sides...it holds up pretty damn good for the abuse we put them thru in the mud and trails we ride!

Houston Hydro Dip did my dash, glove box, gauge pods and Compass cover. It has a clear coat applied.

my 2008 Can-am 800r is in realtree camo, the finish which is the same as mentioned above has held up very well, a couple of corners that see high wear from muddy boots have worn away. Otherwise I am very impressed.
