TOC High's & Low's

Here are a few of my highs & lows from TOC. Chime in if you have any.

High: Running my 1st poker run.
Low: Not seeing anymore in my schedule for this year.

High: Meeting 36baja & Joew.
Low: Not getting to chat enough and meet other members on here.

High: Getting to see so many performance boats together at the same time with rooster tails in the air.
Low: My old tub can't spray a rooster tail.

High: Boat ran flawless all weekend.
Low: Something is gonna soon break.

High: Standing directly behind a boat at the Turtle Club rapping out his engines feeling the power.
Low: Leaving with an ichy vibrating feeling inside of my head.

High: Bushwackers at the Turtle club.
Low: Wife couldn't get enough. She wants more.

High: Getting to run with 36baja.
Low: Not getting enough of his knowledge of the area.

To those that I had the pleasure of meeting it was great. Hopefully meet others in the future. The wife and I had a great weekend.

Brady,

It was great to meet you and I wish we were not leaving Harborwalk that early so we could have visited more. I look forward to seeing you on Conroe!

High: Boat running well and having a group on board which really appreciated the sport and now want their own performance boats.
Low: Getting blown past by boats which spent more in fuel then I did on my entire rig. Absolutely incredible. :coolcowboy:

Are you guys going to do the Conroe Topps poker run?

John

I can't. I'm overseas until the July 24th.

I am not a current member of Topps so unless I have a member drive my boat, I am not permitted to attend. I may get a member to drive the boat though. That is what my brother did last year. The only issue there is he will be having his second child within days of the run. Not sure it is a good decision to leave momma at home for a poker run:)

Hmmm....I didn't know you had to be a member to be Captain of the boat. I thought you paid the extra dues for being a guest member. Good to know.

TOPPS Conroe has different rules than Clearlake TOPPS. They do not allow Guest Boats....

Different chapter with different rules? Good info.

If you're a member of Clearlake TOPPS, could you still command your vessel in the Conroe run?
