I use the plastic ones that clip onto the rails. Way easier and you don't drill holes in your boat.

Www.seasucker.com. They make some good ones. They are about 50 dollars but once you stick it on its pretty impossible to move until you open the suction valve.

That Sea Sucker looks like a good idea for the times you need to move fenders around because they just aren't lining up with the boat next to you.

We have then on our current boat.

The one you're looking was used on our old boat and the eye hole is really very small in my opinion and if the fender gets bound up the base plate looked like it easily rip out on our set up.

it is Perko who makes what is in the pic from post # 1. I can order them and send to you if you have a problem finding them. These are 17.95 for the pair without shipping to U. It takes me one day to get most marine parts. Yes online you most likely will find them cheaper so I will already tell you that. Also Accon makes some great stuff as well - pricey but quality stuff.
