St. Pete Poker Run
 

Anyone else in the area going to hang out & watch the boats run? Where would be the best place to watch them come by?

We will be at the Vinoy just north of the Pier. I suppose if you stand on the St Pete Pier you will see us take off.

I guess I should have said that we will be in our boat. Once we get down there I can look at our charts & try & figure out the routes you guys are taking. I just didn't now if there was a good spot to hang out, see the boats running hard & be out of the way.

Somewhere in the bay (roughly) near Coquina Key might work.
It's not far from the start- everyone will be running by the time they get there and hopefully nobody broke yet. :eek:
They will have to run a little closer to shore because of the point there.

Or... you could go down near the Sunshine Skyway. Should be a great day anywhere on the water!

oh hell. im a couple weeks short.
any of the boys get together the weekend of the 29th? 4/29-5/4 i'll be in holmes beach. hit up eggmont etc. anyone around?

The Airshow at McDill is this weekend as well.

From the weather reports, sounds like there might be some opportunities for air time.
