Apache's on Lake Lanier Ga.
Hello everyone I am wondering how many Apache's are on Lake Lanier Ga? Size, Power, you guys know. Details, please. I have a 2002 Apache 28 Brave running 502 mags with bravos. I am naming the boat "GHOST DANCE".

The purple apache is on a lift at Holiday Marina as of Wendsday. Right next to his Outerlimits. But it looked the same as it did the other weekend.

I have to get with some of you guys on the weekend of July 8th thru the 10th. We are staying at the hotel on Lake lanier for my wifes birthday. Need someone to show us around the lake and most important, where to put in at.LOL.
We will be at lake alatoona this weekend on Saturday and monday as well. Chris |
If you are staying at the hotel on the Islands they have a ramp there. Not the best in the world but if you launch during the week it wont be so bad but you dont want to launch or load during the weekend depending on what size boat you have. Call me a-d can give you advice depending on what your -lans are 770-318-2591 Tyler. If you can make it Thurs they should have a pretty good crowd for Full Throttle Thursday this week.

Should be deep enough but not sure if ramp is big enough. There is a ramp about a mile before you get to islands called big creek that the islands also own that will suit you better I think. Going that way today will let you know about the ramp at Islands.
|
The problem with the islands ramp to the left is it's extremely narrow. I was a bit nervous putting my 28 in there, especially with the new dock they just put in. Big creek is the place to launch for anything bigger- wide ramps and plenty deep. There's also Lanier Harbor just down the road with a super easy ramp and it's in the no wake with a fuel dock right there if you need it.

I am thinking after I wash it I will be out all day friday. I am up at Port Royale Marina. Should be hitten the water by noon. See you guys out there, I dont know the Lake at all basically, been to Sunset Cove a couple times thats it. Hopefully see you guys out there.

I will be out Thursday Eve but not Friday, Then out most of weekend and Monday. Lanierboss272 is usually out on all weekends also. I know we will be at Sunset most of the weekend and pretty sure he will to being its a big party weekend so look for us white with Black Red and Gray Baja 242 and he is Green and Blue custom 272 usually at the docks
|
We will be out pretty much all day Sat, Sun and depending on how those two days go, possibly monday.
We have been anchoring down the beach a little basically behind the restaurant where the chaos doesnt seem to be as bad like it has gotten when you are right by the docks and stage area. My 7 year old doesnt need to expand his vocabulary any more than he has because of the people who have no respect for kids and just blair the uncensored club music all day. If you see us, come by and say hi or tie up if you want. |
I would also suggest Big Creek as well. When you go in to big Creek, use the ramps to the right that are staright down at the end of the road. There is more room to swing around than the other 2 off to the left. Plenty deep there and I have seen 42' boats go in and out there. We are 30' and you will not have a problem.
|
Big Creek it is. We will be there Friday afternoon and staying at the hotel on Lanier Island all weekend. Look forward to meeting a bunch of you. We also checked out Sunset cove on foot the other weekend and we will dock up there for some food as well. Just look for the White,Purple and Red Fountain.
