Cape Coral speed limit
 

Does anyone know where the 25mph speed limit ends on the river when heading out of Cape Coral.

It ends at the sign after you get past the island or the "miserable mile". I haven't been there in a year so I forget the marker #.

What bf said, at the end of "the mile" as your heading towards the Sanibel causeway.

Thanks guys. good info. We hope to be checking out SW Florida soon for a possible relocation. Boating each area has is most important. Looking between Punta Gorda and Naples.

Gare-nice boating in that area. If your are buying a waterfront place try not to be in the parts of Cape Coral where you have to go throug locks to reach open water.

Don't worry. When you get here, there will be plenty of helpful government agents that will "remind" you where it starts.
