Any info on hotels w/slips during this event. Are mufflers a must have in this area? Thanks

Thanks for the info., Do many boats watch the races from the water in that area? I know the gulfstream is close to shore up there.

you'll have some boats out there, but to be honest with you, I prefer from the beach, makes getting back to the pist/partying a lot quicker.:evilb:

Not sure, last offshore race here was in the 90's! Water can be deep which makes anchoring tough especially in choppy conditions. They are going to race by the Juno pier so the middle of the race course will be in probably 35+ ft of water.

By Erika Pesantes, Sun Sentinel 4:11 p.m. EDT, September 29, 2012 About 400 pounds of marijuana valued at over $1 million washed ashore in Jupiter Saturday, police said. A fisherman discovered several burlap sacks at the shoreline in the 3000 block of A1A containing packages of marijuana shortly after 7 a.m. Investigators later canvassed the area and found more marijuana along the beach between Walkover 26 and 32. A total of eight sacks containing 75 packages of marijuana were recovered, police said. The investigation continues |
