My wife just booked us a condo at Eastpass Towers 6/8-6/15. Is anything going on in Destin then?

The week before is Billy Bowlegs. Thats an awesome time for sure.

I will be in Gulf Shores May-20-25th, then drive to Destin for May 26th-June 3rd.

If you've not been to a big marina / boat yard before, I would suggest going to Legendary Marine while you're there. Last year, we were shopping for a new boat, and they had what we were looking for. Unfortunately, the boat (on consignment) wasn't in quite the condition that we wanted. But the sales guy, Nathan, gave us a tour of the facility - we'd never seen a rack storage building so big - and some really nice, high dollar boats. The Corvette Boat was there at the time (on ground level), so we were able to get a good look at that.

Of course, you may have to act like you're wanting to buy a boat to get that kind of attention - but maybe you are! ;-)

I would try to show up for Friday/Saturday of Billy Bowlegs if you could get there a little early. Rather big event.
