I'm going today in search of some goodies for the Formula.

This is an annual event that is an institution for South Florida Boaters.

I have found some very neat stuff over the years.:evilb:

We head south in the morning.

saw a capilano helm pump for cheap down by the boats end, some cheap manuals and a 10.00 fireboy . The speaker guy has some deals also.

I be there today...(wearing my Powerboat Nation shirt!)

I'll be there w/hotty wife (budy bailed on me) and some form of go fast O/B T shirt, weather pending.

Guarantee that will be the only such combination there ; ) Be spending most of my time at the propeller piles.
And I already got field reports from my spy that was there opening day : )

What ever you do...DON'T take US-1 South from I-595!!!

Exit I-95 onto Griffin Rd...over to US 1 then South (if you are coming from the North). With all of the construction at the Airport you will end up driving thru the terminal at least once!! The guy that set that detour up needs to have his ass kicked!!

Going back North...use Griffin again to get back to I-95.

I was mainly shopping for props and was only finding beat up crap.

A lot of the other stuff I was seeing was over priced. I probably won't go back for a while.

Sprink, we got there about noon on Saturday and took US 1 in from Dania Beach and had no issues w/that or parking. We did cut east one block before traffic but still wasn't bad.

Best deal I found was a mid '90's V-8 Johnrude, that was complete, less gear case for $300. Almost brought that one home w/me :cartman:

Seems to me that it's going the way of the area flea markets. Selling cheap quality crap that you can get at a store for a similar price.

Was quite a bit of used I/O stuff though. Heard one vendor telling a couple of island guys that were shopping but didn't have enough money, to bring a couple extra keys w/them next time ;)
