Florida Boating
I may have a job op. just outside Orlando, currently for me in MI larger water (for 38' boats) is only minutes away
This would require a re-location, so the question is that is there boating around the Orlando area, or where is the closest area to play with my boating toys (again not jet ski's or little fishing boats) in good nice water (hopefully not freezing water) I know Miami is a neat place, but I believe that is aprox. 3 hours away, I prefer to keep my offshore boats by me where I live, and trailer them (this way I can "puts" with them during the week and or maintain them where my tools are) any info. would be appreciated |

Orlando sucks being dead center of state. Lol. Maybe try to move a little outside so your closer to a coast would be nice.

hich coast is better for boating?
|
Well that is like asking which boat is better. Everyone will say the coast they live on.
When you say outside of Orlando, where outside? |

^^^^ Agreed I live on the space coast Merritt Island Cocoa Beach area. I have boated on the west coast as well love them both. You would have to choose what best suites your needs. Again depending on where in Orlando you will be working would tell the story.

A lot of people commute via carpool/vanpool etc. from the Daytona Beach area to the Lake Mary/Orlando area.

If you work to the east side you could probably live in Cocoa and commute less than 45 min... Too many scenarios without knowing what & where.
Cocoa is cool too. |
