Default South Beach

Going to be in South Beach staying at the RC for a convention Sunday - Wednesday I have Sunday to myself and would love to go somewhere close to see some boats or marinas. What would u South Florida folks recommend?

Monty's was always a place I would hit when down that way..

Thanks Bonz, I hung out there yesterday for a LONG time. Food, beer and scenery was awesome.

Nice! Glad it worked out for you. Back some time in 06' the girlfriend (now wife) and I stopped in there before heading down to Key West. In the slip was the all orange 46' Skater "Hell Fire". We also saw Phil pull in on a twin step gun. I think he was taking a customer out on a test run. Really cool to watch all go down and sip on a beer....

While I was there a few really cool boats pulled in. 45 magnum, porsche boat (very neglected), deep impact with quad 300's, a bunch if cigs, a skater (I think) v bottom. Like u said very cool to watch. Struck up a conversation with 2 locals and the next thing I know 5 hours had gone by. Again thanks for the heads up. I would have never stopped there thing the food sucked but the raw bar was spot on. The scenery handles itself. Lots of gorgeous woman. LOTS
