Lifting eyes on a 30'
 

I've recently purchased a 30 with a pair of 225 Promax's. I keep it in a yard over in the UK where the boat is craned in and out of the water, so I need to fit some lifting eyes.

The stern is easy, I thought I'd go for U bolts on the inside of the transom, in the centre of the footprint of the CMC lifters, but I don't know what to do up the front. I would have gone for a 3 point lift, with another U bolt on the deck, tied into the uprights inside, but I'm a bit concerned about the balsa core being compressed.

Any one had the same problem, and if so what did you do/use?

I sent Spectre an e mail about 2 months ago enquiring about a tunnel tab and an overall cover, haven't had the courtesy of a reply yet.

I guess they're only interested in new and not used! :(
