The engines are stock 500HP's with nothing done to them, no upgrades at all. He is running 4 blade 30" Eliminator props that have been re-worked and then re-worked again. Last weekend the boat ran 105.67 on GPS and there was more left. I haven't dealt with enough Spectre's to know what they are running with what application, but I have been in this boat holding the GPS. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I have the identicalboat and am running 30" Hydromotives. I turn 5000 to 5050 RPM and the best GPS speed i have obtained is 101.4. Could you get me more info on the props and the RPM he is running. Thanks,

the best i ever saw a 30 run w/500's is 103 he said it went 112 but i guess his 112 and the 110 that my 31 ao runs are a little different. the boat did fly good but it looked like it flew a little bow high. but it had bravo 4 blades on it so that could of been the reason. ;)

A guy I know has a 30' and he is running twin 800 horsepower motors. man does that boat scream :D I think he has 500lbs of sand bags in the bow. Does that sound right :confused:. He does have trouble finishing a poker run, though :rolleyes: .
