30' with 300 promax's with cracked transom
 

Hello,

I was curious if anyone has had issues with their transoms cracking? I was looking at a 30' for sale here in California with a pair of 300 pro max's on it ( 12 hrs) and the transom is cracked, to the point that the motors are not secure. I'd assume that is the reason that the boat was repo'd, I'm curious if the MFR wouldn't warranty it? The motors looked fine, no damage indicating a collision. The boat is only a few years old and looks great.

What year is the boat?

I lost the paper that I had the year written on, it's either an 06 or 07.

If it is was the boat that was at lbys.com it did not have a cracked transom. :rolleyes:

I think there used to be a 5 year Hull warranty, so it might be worth a try. I would think the warranty would still be honored.
