Mike
We are running 15X32 3-Blade non-labed but on the rev-limiter. Sent them to Brett to get off the limeter but havent had a chance to run them yet. If you getting the new XS go with the 15X34 and let Brett work them. That's what I am planning on doing after talking to Brett. :drink:
It looks like we are going to Lake Havasu next month 4/22/10 for the Desert Storm poker run. I hope more SPECTRES can come to the run next month. Tony is sending his 36 and Jay will be there also. I am also running in the Royal Purple Poker Run May 1, 2010 in Lake Pontchartrain.
Thanks,
Tommy :drink::drink:

Beautiful boat, TB have you had any gearcase problems yet. Our son has a 28 Skater, with twin 300's on it. He ran 15X34 3 blade Mercury cleavers on it. The gear cases constantly had water in them from the vibration and harmonics that the 3 blade props have. They are fast, but very hard on gearcases if you are surfacing them. Had Brett do a pair of 4 blades, what a difference. Smoother, blistering mid-range acceleration, better rough water handling, lost about 3 mph on the top end, but gained everywere else. The best part, the gear cases dont have any more problems. This is on a boat that was running 75 hrs a year.

Nice spectre, but my eyes keep wandering to that big skater in the background

No we never had any gear case problems. I think Mercury fixed that with the new XS model. I would love to try some 4 blades. Brett did not have a set of 15X34 3 or 4 Blade last time we talked. Good luck with the Skater.:drink:

What is the projected top speed of that 32' Spectra with a pair of 300 XS's?

I am just guessing but around 105-108 MPH with the right set of wheels. 15X34 Labed up 3 blade cleavers? Thats what brett at BBlades told me.

Comment:
I have been following this thread for awhile I also want to see what this boat will do with the right prop.

The photo of the GPS is required:argue: otherwise you get a lot of this and that a posted photo of the GPS calms the natives and makes believers or turns you into a convert asap.

I'm hoping to be a convert here real quick:).

P.S. See you in Havasu Tommy B. it will be a worthwhile endeavor.
