Well,
I had much better results this weekend running a 14.75 x 32" Maximus with the diffuser ring removed.

Saw 104, but had a full load of fuel, and had my daughter and her boyfriend with me so I didn't really get a chance to air it out.

I saw you are selling your lowers . Are you going shorter . I'm just starting to put a 30 together and wondering how short to go. Although I think my transom is cut about an inch higher.

Is your transom built like this? What year is your 30?

Yes but I think transom assembly sit a little higher. Mines a 98.

Mine are only 1/4 inch below the raised area and has a full width tunnel tab. I will post some pics when I start putting stuff back on. Just finished paint.

I am not positive of date but Jay raised the transoms around 2000 all the way to the top.
