I had one bad Interstate 24M-XHD battery which was only showing 8.3v. After some research, I decided to give the Braille lightweight AGM battery a try. I read on S&F that Skater puts the 17lb B2317 version in their small cats. It sounds like they're very sensitive about maintaining a good charge and need to be charged every 2 weeks if not in use. We'll see how they hold up over time, but I estimate I pulled about 58 pounds out of the boat between the batteries and the mounts.
