Are the openings in the bow between the sponsons to release air if bow goes over a certain angle to release air to prevent a blow over?

No, they direct air to the turbines.

Could have been a order with deposit that the customer now needs to back out of. These boats are not paid in full upfront. Not really sure the tale there.

I know these boats run fantastic though and fast as can be.
