Those guys went goo-goo over the new SS. Excellent write up and test results on the one at the boatshow. Said they did 83.7 with the 496HO's in "rough water"... That's not too shabby with a boat that's a little heavier than the original 32...

After riding in a 288 today with an Ilmor 625, I am dying to know how an SS will do with 2 of them.

Got home OK. That was not a good alternative going through Indianapolis though. Ended up being about 85 miles longer, and just hit 5pm traffic there instead of in Chicago.

Went and got the boat from Missouri today. I need to do some work on that trailer before we pull it up to Michigan. I will call you.

BTW, boat cranked right up tonight. Changed the batteries, and changed oil and serviced the outdrives. Taking it for a spin tomorrow.

Took the boat out to re-aquaint myself today. It ran great. It was kinda of the perfect fathers day gift for me to go back out in it.
