Owner says it's a Sunsation (Different manufacturer than Sunsation Performance)??

He said that SUNSATION was the real buisness name of the manufacturer??? Different than SUNSATION PERFORMANCE...

At first glance it looks like the lines of an Envision, but the more you look at it...who knows....?

I am not sure Envision makes a step hull, but it's good to see a dectective jump on the mystery.

Envision does not make a step hull. I think it looks like a Chase but who really knows :D

I think the Campion chase 910 (30') looks like that boat... The Chase 910 is also available with a single. But, I have never seen a steped hull Chase...

I am telling you guys, it is going to be hard to solve the mystery... I took the picture on Labor day, I hope I'l see the guy next week so I can talk to him again and investigate further... :cool:

The funny part of this is that I went close to an argume with the owner's friend when I told him there was no way that boat was a Sunsation :eek: :p Another thing, He told me there was a few of them...

Starting to think it is some kind of a project boat with a home made sticker on it...

Hi JS,
I saw that boat at deep bay last summer.There were no Sunsation stickers on it then.He told us the same thing,that it was a Sunsation.It does look a little like a Chase.

You are right, thinking about it, I remember having seen the boat last year. And there were no Sunsation sticker. Unfortunately, I did'nt see the boat last weekend. Maybe a Back yard production boat?? :cool:

Seen the boat again last weekend. Short story, the owner bought the boat with the SUNSATION letters on the windshield. He removed them, and installed a new decal on the side of the Hull. I finally convinced Him that His boat was not a Sunsation... :eek: :evilb: The Hull identification numbers starts with the letters SP............... ?

I seen it up close for the first time when I was on the lake last week. I can say for sure it is not a sunsation.. :cool:
It kinda had the lines of a Hustler. especially the deck.

Well !!!!!! After 11 years I think I have solved the mystery! I am just back from georgian bay and I saw another one sitting on a trailer. This one had twins and something written on the stern........ Manta ray powerboats! It's a beautifull 32' Hull. I would be curious to ear about the history of the brand. Really rare hull.
