You're gonna step into a new world with this boat. Can't wait to see it this summer. Congrats!

How is your 32 running. It is still one of my favorites.

Can we get you to come to LOTO this summer? You won't need to bring your boat!!:D

We always have room. I imagine Chevy and I will try to arrange a Sunsation owners get together at the Shootout again this year. Last year it did not go too well since it was a rainy day.

What about the 32 MCOB SS Dominator or 32 MCOB Dominator? I have never ridden in either model Dominator MCOB or Closed or SS or not and I would like some feedback on if the MCOB is the right move. I would lean more toward the SS simply because of the enclosed head....wife friendly.

I will be purchasing another boat in about one year or so and have been a fan of Powerquest boats. I wanted to get a 38 or 34 footer. Well my wife wants more of a family boat i.e. bow rider. I think there is a compromise but I want to know if the people that have the MCOB love them or wish they had purchased the closed model. Sunsation is the only company I know that makes a killer looking offshore bowrider. Just trying to reconcile wanting an offshore boat with the wants of my family. Constructive thoughts/ comments? Thanks.

Venom

I bought a 32 MCOB and I love the boat. I wouldn't have bought a 32 Closed bow since the v berth is useless here in FL for overnighting since it tends to be hot year round. The only changes I would make in my next 32 MCOB would be to skip the deck cushions on top of the mid cabin and remove the front cabin door. The cushions (they are removable) are never used on my boat but are a pain to keep clean and the fron cabin door would be better as a snap on/ roll up door since it is always open (when running in rough conditions the door cannot stay closed). The boat has great usuable space and looks like its closed bow counterpart from the profile. My two small kids play/ hang out in the mid cabin and while underway in a slow/no wake zone there is a nice breeze running through the cabin. The look on people's faces are priceless when they see the open bow on this boat, everyone appreciates the extra seats/space and love the front bow speedo!

The boat and customer service from Sunsation are both awesome and I wouldn't hesistate to buy another.

Jupiter,

Very nice photos of your boat running. Seems you are quite happy with the MCOB. I think I would like the additional space up front too as we do not overnight very much. It would make setting an anchor much easier! The one thing I have been concerned about an open bow is running in rough water but it looks like you can run with the front cover in place. I boat in Lake Michigan and it gets pretty rough at times.

I imagine you could sleep in the mid cabin with filler cushions or even in the bow with the cover in place if you had to overnight.

Anyone else?

Venomous - another thing for you is the cabin storage. If you don't load up with fridge, micro, etc, the Dominator cabin has more storage than I have seen in any boat. Sunsation left no stone unturned when it came to the ergonics of the cabin.
The SS cabin is awesome...at 6'2", I can sit comfortably with several inches of clearance to my head. The sleep area is a little tight however, bear in mind that this is a smaller 32. One other thing, the closed bow models have an anchor locker up front which is an awesome feature...

Anchor storage is up front in the MCOB as well. It is under the center cushion in the bow.

The 32 is and has been running great! I had a little ethanol fuel issue i had to work thru this past season, but otherwise perfect. I tore my kneecap tendon 4th of July which pretty much nixed the 2nd half of the boating summer, but I'll be bouncing back strong in 2007.

Hey I'd love to come out there for a long weekend. Whether I towed out or not, a long ride in the "Big Sun" would be part of the package...:D What are the dates again for the Shootout?

Hey shawn, can't wait to see the first pics of the boat. I hope to see you next weekend at the OSO Chill Out. I've got some hot business actions going on that may get in the way of my showing up. It'll be a last minute call.

Rick

The shootout is always the last weekend in August. Wayne and Joe are supposed to come out again this year. I think Wayne plans to run the black F4 he is building in the shootout. I believe they are already set up with the slip at Shooters.

Should be the weekend of 8/24 - 8/26.
