Sunsation 288 vs 28 Intimidator
 

Well, I'm leaning more toward Sunsation for my boat purchase. However, the 288s are just a bit out of reach price wise. I do see that the 28 Intimidator is within my price range.

How do the 2 boats compare? I'm sure the 288 was a replacement for the Intimidator but what are their differences?

Can't find a whole lot of info about the Intimidators.

Same Boat basically. They were asked to stop using the Intimidator name by DEI is what I had heard so now it's a 288.
2005 the hulll went to a full step. Ohter difffs would include a reshaped fairing and all that goes with that, dash, stereo placement, etc.

Couple of smokin deals out there right now on a 02 and 08 288's in the classifieds.

Zp'd is right, the Intimidator and the 288 is the same boat, only difference is the new hull in 05'. Both hulls are great boats and you can't go wrong with either.

Not sure what your bumping up from, but they are simply awesome rides :D
