Should be sick!

jeff32 03-25-2008 08:46 PM

600's... that's a over 100 mph boat for sure, right?

That would be my guess, at least right at 100 - the 525 boats are running low to mid 90s.

Boomer 880 03-25-2008 08:58 PM

Black... wow, it sure will be hot!

Can't wait to see what is in store and what speeds it will run.

Knot 4 Me 03-26-2008 07:55 AM

Upper 90's boat for sure. Triple digits will be a stretch...most likely only attainable with tall props, on fumes, light load, perfect air/water conditions. There is not as big a jump in performance from the 525's to the 600's as you would think there should be.

25 hors la loi 03-26-2008 09:08 AM

Can't wait to see it ....have you cue on the scheme ? you can share to us :D ...thank's Mahopac to keep us posted !!
Regards

yesrej 03-26-2008 10:54 AM

theres ben some 32s with 525s hitting high 90s. you will get a little more with the 600s so im guesing that yes it will be a triple digit boat.

Gary864 03-26-2008 11:01 AM

my guess is 97 it will be sweet for sure. What is Domscott running for power? I know his is the old bottom but will give us a good starting point

Agree with you ....high 90 is the place for that setup ...no triple digit :cool-smiley-011: ...or maybe different story if you have back wind and run on the Hudson River :D
nice setup by the way and cool look for sure

Where have you been hiding my beer?:D

It is stale by now. I was just up near your neck of the woods a week or so ago at the chain of lakes. They still have a ways to go to thaw.

I'm still around and the beer is ready anytime you are. Send me a message next time you are in Chicago... we are about 30-minutes from the Chain.

PS. got your PM!

Since Mitch has his hands on it, I'm sure it will be just as stunning as Wayne's F4.

The factory F-4 does look great in person. Come to think of it, I was on the bow of it at the Shootout last year fending off an errant boat. It was tolerable to stand on.

You guys get some good boating in after you left? It was nice sitting out at Docknockers.

chevyzq8 04-09-2008 02:02 PM

Spent some time checking out the shoreline in the area, then covered it back up and ran over to a HS buddy's house on the 11mm.

Spring and Fall, the best times to be on the lake :D

ZP'd 04-14-2008 12:04 PM

Looks awesome and man do I dig that purple black combo but - I'd never get anything done other then keeping water spots at bay on my boat..:D

Gary864 05-05-2008 02:29 PM

So when will this beast be in the water.

The owner added a few more upgrades to the boat. We are looking at Memorial Day Weekend.

More pics are on the way!

Ya thanks Steve. I know. We are picking the boat up at the factory next Thurs. I am awaiting pics.

BTW we also have a 32 SSR Mid Cabin Open Bow coming down the line. Watch out on the River, looks like we will have a few very different Sunsations out there :D

Gary864 05-20-2008 09:25 PM

livinglife2 04-23-2010 02:26 PM

So what top end numbers did this boat end up doing & is it worth going to the 600 over the 525 ???????????

If you are looking for an unreal mid range punch and to climb to the 100 mark then go with the 600's. Otherwise, the 525's are a fantastic way to go.
