Actually 200hrs on the 700's should not be a problem and I'm sure the factory would have done all the set maintainence to them along the way.

I don't think he is saying there is a problem. I'm not sure what the recommended timeframe is for an overhaul of the top end. I believe it is around 250 - 300 hours for the 500's and 525s. So my bet is that those 700s are not too far away from a top end maintenance cycle.

thats exactly what I was trying to say. 250 hours and its time for a top end mantaince job.

No boat is free after purchase.......... If you can spend 400K, a 250 hour top end for 10-15K is nothing (guessing on the cost). My buddy bought a Top Gun and has spend 20K on fuel alone in 10 months. Never thought of fuel as such a big expense but at $4++ a gallon it adds up quick.

just to show how great the factory is , if you purchase the F4 from Mahopac Marine at a show or after .the boat will come with a full 1 year warrannty,that covers the motors call Charlie for any more details any one needs

125 MPH for now but I thought I read on Sunsation's site it was going back to Mercury's Lake X for more dialing in to see if a few more MPH can be had.......

Hey thanks man, my pal jupiter sunsation. I will be in
your area during the lauderdale show so if you need me
to clean your boat let me know....but i am not cheap,
easy but not cheap. Anyway thanks for the cudo's Scott
Oh and by the way, they found me Living in Van
down by the river eating goverment cheese!!
