Anyone Home???...

I've been checking for a number of days, and things are eerily quiet down here in the owner's forum.....

tmager 03-19-2002 05:00 PM

You're right, the board is really quiet. Its killing me waiting for the weather to turn and get out on the water and now there isn't anything interesting to read. As usual Michigan weather goes sour in the end of March, gray and 40's. Depressing

RumRunner 03-19-2002 07:27 PM

The boards been real slow here lately where is everybody ?

Reckless32 03-19-2002 11:28 PM

Geeesh! I was beginning to think I was all alone. Yeah I thought we were gettin' golden over here on the "Right" coast but mother nature has one last gasp of cool air it seems. Bet you guys up north are still hatin' it...

Yo...Just passin thru.

kook 03-20-2002 06:48 PM

I'm here. Just not much to talk about right now. Give it a few weeks, and things should be picking up.

Cz_buyer 03-21-2002 11:30 AM

I've been wondering the same.. N/M

Sleepy Sunsation, Maybe I need to go out and make an 80mph pass and boost my adrenalin??? :-)

tmager 03-21-2002 04:23 PM

Cz, you southern boys got it good, don't you? Were expecting at least an inch of snow today. Who's great idea was it to put the automotive business in such a damn cold place! Makes the first run every spring a great adrenalin rush though! But I think next year its time to tow the boat down to Florida in the spring.

RumRunner 03-21-2002 07:23 PM

Tom:

Have you had your 94 out yet ? I've got one too, got it last January. Great Boat.

Doug

tmager 03-21-2002 08:07 PM

I got it out in September a little bit. Started with a Mazco RP4 four blade that made the boat out of control. Pulled the rear end all over if you got airborne at all and chine walk over 65. I sent the prop back and bought a Mirage 25, sent the boat in for an interior replacement before trying it out with the new prop and then stored it. Its been a long winter waiting to run it.

Low Rider 03-21-2002 10:42 PM

Went to the marina and looked at the Dominator for a few minutes last weekend. I was going to pull the cover off and start the spring thing, cleaning and waxing. But it was rainning so I decided to start the spring thing this weekend instead. If everything works out, we will splash on Easter Weekend. Going to install a ladder on the swim platform next week, that has turned into a real project. The swim platform on a Dominator does not lend its' self well to a ladder installation.

With the way the weather's been acting here lately it looks like it'll be easter weekend here as well John before I splash...

It's suppose to get down to 16 degrees here tonight. Kind of depressing this close to boating season.

KN 03-23-2002 12:09 AM

I'm here, waiting for the chance of no more snow to have my new Dominator delivered. We got 8 inches of snow yesterday, it's depressing.

Extended forcast for Easter Weekend is temp. in low 60's. Plans to float the boat may get delayed another week. Of course alot can change with the weather in a week. It seems the weather has got it backwards. We have gone from spring to winter, try to figure that out!:(

Mentalpause 03-23-2002 02:40 PM

Vaboater - you should call Joe up at Sunsation and have them send you their ladder kit for the Dominator. I put mine on 2 seasons ago. Only takes about 30 minutes. Very easy, they send complete directions and hardware. It is also an excellent ladder.

Yes I do love Florida

Tmager,

Yes it is true, Florida living does have that warm sunshine benefit. I took the Intimidator out Sun for a nice cruise down to Shell Island for a couple of hours. It was about 82 out and the water is slowly creeping toward the 80 deg mark.

In case you guys didn't know this the best thing about having a bad ass fast Sunsation on the west coast of Florida is:

A) They are totally rare and everyone loves to see something different

B) Completely packing the **** out of every Baja owner who trys to run with you!

I love it. Why don't we have a sprin break Sunsation Rally ever year at my house. I'll provide the food! :-)

Regards,

Craig Z:cool:

tmager 03-26-2002 05:57 PM

Craig, I like that idea, hell it can't be more than a 24 hour drive down there. I have thought about pulling the boat down there next spring, this year I bought a house and then the boat so the funds have pretty much dried up for any vacations.
