That wasnt meant the way it sounded,sorry. Just most people won't spend the extra cash to push it that far. The motor is only part of it as you know. hyd steer,bigger tabs, stronger drives,and the list goes on! Glens 28 heat runs great! The drive is the week link,he has 1300 hp,. He does a good job driving at 110 and burst to 115. I posted some pic of it on the nordic side.I called about putting big power in a 28 and they said there looking into it. I like the new 28 also and I'm with you on the check writing I just love to BOAT!!!

Nice looking Aggressor. What kind of power are your running? Looks like a blast.

1,300 through a Bravo is pretty good. That makes me feel better. I have a friend running 1,000 a side through Bravos and I thought that was pretty good. It is all in how your drive.

That boat was for sale. I looked at it on line. sweet set up! I went out yesterday and turned the boost back to 11lb and she ran 96 on a hand held gps,got a litte loose at about 88,some port tab helped her. We were on the Ohio river after it rained for 2 days so stuff floating didnt look good to hit. It runs best at 90 but even that in a 25 is pushing it with other people in the boat.

Yes, I was aware of some of the racing boats doing it. Eddie Young had a Phantom with big power. He said it ran way north of 100 and did it well. I would imagine a few other of the race bred boats like Joker are good to go too.

Risingsun, How did your whipple run when you first put it in. I am having alot of trouble with mine. I insatlled it on a 2008 525 with low hours. I spent alot of money. It keeps shutting down and has burned the tips off spark plugs. Any help would be great. My 525 was super reliable but now has become worthless.

Franks Marine in OH installed it new in 2004. No problems . last year I sent the computer back to whipple and had it set to run 11lb boost. Staff at whipple helped me alot with new setup ! I've not had any issues. they told me to change the head gaskets so we did. No spark plug problems.

I had a wipple in my 288 no problems ever, if your burning tips,i would think your are very lean, call Dustin he is very helpful.

thanks guys for the help. i talked to dustin and he is helping me out. hopefully we get this problem fixed because when the whipple ran good the boat was a demon at 90-92 mph

i own the 288 with the whipple. we still tryin to get all the kinks out. the boat runs 90 all day so far but i think were gonna need to spin a 31 lab bravo cuz the 30 regular bravo is hittin the revlimiter

What do you think it is cranking out for HP to get you up over the 90 mark ?Are you going to make to the NYC run this year? I would be good to see you guys out there.
