32 with windshield??
 

Hello folks,

Does Sunsation ever put a windscreen or windshield on any of their 32's?

I dont think I have ever seen a 32 with one.

This was my first Sunsation. Moved to a 43 with 700's and now building a 43 with Ilmors. This is a great boat with only 60 hours or so and in perfect shape. Lots of extras that are not in pictures. Call William at 757.961.9411 if interested.

Thanks for the info and pics...these are a rare sight with the winshields indeed.
Alot of people will argue the looks of the windshield but it works for me!

Anyone have a picture of the newer 32 (SS/SSR) with a windshield? I'm curious how it looks with the higher hull sides.

Missed that one. Thanks for pointing it out. My eye's like the older 32's with the windshield better than the new. Probably just me....

Alot of peepz like the look of the older dom because it sits so low in the water...but the higher freeboard and increased performance outweighs the looks!!! :kiss:

Yeah likewise...I want to move up but not sure as to what manufacturer as of yet. I was thinking of a 33 Fountain Lightning or a 32 Sunsation. I want blue power...525's or bigger.

Sounds like we are looking at the same boats! I'm good with 496 HO power however.

It is tough to see someone on the verge of going down no matter who....
496's are nice but 525's are nicer...lol.

Yep it is sad to see a company that has done so much for the sport in the verge of going down!

but really whats the difference between a company almost done and 1 thats just idleing not really building boats and waiting for the economy to turn?

HO's, approx. 140 HRS on boat, AC/heat, shore power, battery chargers, red bezzels on gauges, full McCleod interior. Runs 81-82 all day, have hit 84 on a good day! Pheonix triple axle (red) with alum. rims, full brakes.

Bo-G's boat is a very clean ride and I must say that the graphics really compliment the entire package.

Is it possible to replace the wind screen with a windshield??

It is possible but yet very difficult. The windshield and fairing versions have 2 different dash layouts. It becomes more involved than to just change out the fairing to a windshield.
Dont get me wrong, it can be done.

My personal experience is that the windshield does not offer much more wind protection than the fairing.

How can that be....I am only 5'8 and I would have thought that I would be sitting behind the windshield looking through it as opposed to looking over the windscreen???

From what I have heard, the aftermarket wind acrylic wind screen does a great job on the fairing boats...probably much better than a windshield boat!

The windshield isn't that tall. I am 5'11" and seated I look over the windshield.

I have a 1995 32 Dominator with a windshield and a friend of mine has a 1994 with a windshield.
