Triple switch on throttle lever
Hi guys, I'm considering to fit the Livorsi triple switch (right pic below) to control also the flaps on my boat.
Currently, she has just the trim switch (left pic below). As I understood from Wildman_grafix in Fountain forum, this setup is standard for Sunsation, so I thought to jump in and ask if you think it's really as convenient to use as it seems on paper. Besides, are you aware of any problems when fitting them as an upgrade from single switch? For instance, I'm a bit concerned about whether the additional wires will fit the passage inside the lever... Thanks in advance! http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3.../HL/single.jpghttp://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3.../HL/triple.jpg PS: the pics show the left hand versions, that's just because the levers are on the left on my boat, but surely that doesn't make any difference with regard to both their use and the installation. |
I have a 28 sunsation with that throttle set up.. After using this I wouldn't use anything else.. It is very easy and at high speeds your hand never has to leave it.

Thanks for your feedback.
How do the switches work, fore finger for the trim and the thumb dual switches for the tabs, I suppose? |

Thanks guys for your feedbacks.
I did expect it to be a clever tool, just judging by the pic. Isn't there anyone who retrofitted it on an existing Livorsi single switch lever? As I said I'm wondering if the additional wires can be routed down the lever together with the existing ones, or there's any other trick required. Well, since as I understand they're standard on Sunsation, maybe I should post the question on general forum... :lolhit: |

The guys there are great and would be happy to help. 810-794-4888 |
I talked to Kyle about updating mine, he said its a tight fit with the wires, but they will fit.

Thanks folks, I think I'll give it a try!

However, I was able to get the bolt-on twin button unit from livorsi installed that I run the tabs with my fingers and my thumb runs the trim on my Dominator (dual sticks). Still available to best of my knowlege and easy retrofit. Not as clean as an itegrated unit, but not butt ugly either. Best of luck |
