Rick – He can always get the hull number and give Joe a call at the factory. He can probably tell your buddy every detail about that particular boat. The phone number for the factory is (810) 794-4888.

On a side note – has anyone other than Drew been out yet?

I haven’t been out yet so this is really late for me. However, I have been at the lake every weekend and a lot of the evenings since mid-November. I’ve been working on the lake house. The deed was messed up and it took 4 months to close so I have 9 months of work to do in 6 months. I really wanted to have everything done before boating season because once that starts everything else takes the back seat. I hope to have it pretty well wrapped up before the end of May…

I’ve talked to some fishermen that say the lake is clean. You know these fishermen are a pretty friendly bunch – they wave at me all summer but that must be one hell of a dangerous sport because they all seem to be missing most of their fingers… :lolhit::eek:

Lol :grinser010: the fisherman, we just got are campers in at the river lots today , docks in 2 weeks and start the season weekend before memorial weekend, my motors still sitting on the floor of my garage so i to need to get moving. You need to come down to the river for a weekend this summer, were getting more performance boats here than you can imagine.

Rick, they are nice boats, but small compared to other 25' boats. They are 23'7" long and 7' wide; popped from the 24&7 molds of yesteryear.

I've been on one in 6' footers on the Chesapeake. The boat can handle it, but the body can't. My buddy has had two of them, and they really are the equivalent of a go-kart on the water. He was running a Pro-Charged 540 pushing 900HP in the second one.  On flat water, they got it up to 104 before they saw a light & a voice saying "back out of it." :D

If this is your same friend that was looking at the 26' Sonic, have him keep looking for something bigger to run with your crew.

Cant find anything decent for 25k other than this, And he is coming out of a 19 regal open bow so it is a step up, we run on mostly a local river no chop so he should be fine, of course i would of love to see him get a 25 thunder as i loved mine when i had one, but 25k is tuff to find. Thanks Brian

I have a line on a 25AT in the Upper Chesapeake for around $30K. Let me see what I can find out.
