speedo is gone!
I was out yesterday, when out of no where i lost my speedo. Where do i start to look to fix this one?
Thanks |
Give us a bit more info.
GPS speedo? Standard? Check on the outdrive at the pivot point underneath. There is a yellow fitting and a small black hose that generally pops off after time or a certain speed. How fast were you travelling? |
Sorry its a standard speedo, and i was traveling 55 maybe 60. if it matters its a B1.

Or the intake on the drive got plugged if you hit a stick or something. If so a 7/64ths drill bit will do the trick for cleaning it out.

thanks for the help guys, i will check it out this weekend.

I say its a perfect time to replace it with a gps speedo.

Was a very accurate speedo. within 1 or 2 mph compared to my hand held gps.
