boat looks familiar...can't place it but it's on this site somewhere I bet.

I remember when it had the big motor in it, last time I saw it was a couple of years ago near 16 & Gratiot, owner just bought a 32' Sunsation. Great price on a great project.

is it all original or did you or the last owner do some work on it??? what power did you have when you sold it???

I have never owned or sold this boat, I was just stating the fact that it used to have a big HP engine in it and where it was located when I last saw it.

Looks like the old Red Hot boat, my brother is good friends with the original owner. When he owned it, it had a blown 509 in it. It ran low to mid 80s.

This boat is begging for my 1.8L Isuzu diesel that's in my Chevette.....

It used to have a NA 572"

Although similar in apperance, I don't believe that it was Johan's(sp) boat, but I could be wrong.

Lee your right it is not John's boat.

Your right Lee - 16 & Gratiot and had big power the guy pulled for a drag car. I heard the price dropped to $1,000 too! (minus trailer and transom assembly)

Don't tempt me, I already have a project boat that is not making very much progress.

Tell me about it. I hate to insult the boat with such a low price but really want to see it gone before I get the itch. Just too many other things going on right now.

Well, hopefully the weather starts cooperating so I can get started on this project. If I feel any hint of not being able to commit to this project I may sell it to a friend thats looking, but I hope thats not the case. This boat has tons of potential.
