It was a used boat, no company lost sales... and I didn't say it wasn't worth buying I said that for what he asked (running rough water on great lakes) that I didn't think that was the boat he wanted and listed some others that were a little heavier. It's amazing how sensitive it gets over there!

Hawk and kalvballer... it was a joke, you guys can't handle any criticism whatsoever, proof is all over that site, including stuff being deleted to maintain an "image". I didn't post anything publicly and gave a guy my opinion, which happened to be correct... say what you will. Being over zealous towards a brand actually works AGAINST the brand just so you know... even your own board members can see it. Besides, I'm at home over here on OSO, the rest of us boaters don't need a special site to get our backs patted daily :)
The few sunny owners I like to talk to hang out over here, if you can be cool you can join in over on PQ GenDiscussion (where all the cool cats hang out lol) 288KID- we north bound tonight or taking our amateur boating skills and irrelevant opinions to the bar to get free beer from the Hawaiian? Your freakin dillusional thinking your missed over there or that your so called opinion is anything other then lame attempts to justify yourself or your purchase. Get over yourself your two bit adgenda and move on, then you'll at least look like you have a bit of credibility. |
Wa wa wa... ZP'd you're not impressing anyone by puffing out your chest online lol
If I wanted a sunsation I would have bought one, used to consider a 32 but once I saw beat off owners like you posting I knew I didnt want to be associated with that. Shame. So instead next boat will probly be another PQ or maybe Hustler :drink: |
Whats up with the sunsation / powerquest thing?
Since I have a Donzi who should I be dissing? PS I visited the sunny section because I think a 288mcob would be a great boat for the wife, trying to pick up some info. |

Just move on and grow up a bit, your maiking yourself look childish. Enjoy your PQ and know your likely the only person ever to have pissed off one of the most helpful Builders "to Owners of all makes" ever in the industry by trying to back door dog his lifeblood that he pours his heart and soul into day in and day out. One of the most laid back Gentleman I've ever met. Foolish and un-called for, plain and simple, simple enough for even a fool to get. Good luck getting it, as it appears it's going to be a challenge of huge porportion. |

Never seen anything like it before where someone of another brand is so consumed with dogging another builder. Except for a Fountain maybe. :drink: |

Do a search for "donzi" on sunsation forums and see all the great things they have to say about those. You'll see where I'm coming from. ZPd I'm glad you love Joe and Wayne so much. As far as MCOB goes, they aren't for me but seem to give a great blend of sport boat and fun boat since you get to maintain the look and speed and still have the extra room for the kids. There are plenty of 288's around and a few Nordics in that category, also a guy we chat with over in the PQ forum by the name of Bert has a really sweet 29 Laveycraft MCOB with 525 he's selling, may want to check that out also |

I am buy no means a diehard sunny owner even through i own one and are great boats with great service . I have been in and rode in fountains, cigs, new and old sunnys 28 and 32s and even the innovator model. Depends on were you boat and what you are going to do with the boat to which one i would buy.I think the cig is the best riding boat but heavy and slower then the others. The innovator was the fastest at 97mph and rode great in rough water and i personally think it was or is a better hull design than the new ones and the best of all the boats but not a real family boat thats just my opionion to.Sunnys are far a head in styling and fit in finish unless the others have stepped it up. I looked at donzi's and fountains in the 28 29 foot range and baja's singles and twins before i bought my procharged 288.For a light boat it does really well in rough water after you learn how to drive it. i have been up to erie and cumberlands poker run and had no trouble and cumberland gets pretty rough that weekend. All forgot to say i even looked at your beloved PQ model but just was not for me. I am hopefull the weather holds out so i can see if the 288 will handle lake st clair this weekend.

I will say the innovator was one cool ass boat, I liked the concept but unfortunately they got rid of it. If you do make it out and happen to.spot the Kid and I give us a holler, I think you'll find I don't take forum smacktalk as seriously as I sometimes reply
