Lift capacity for a 32?

Hey guys,

How much lift capacity do you need to get a 32 out of the water?

Thanks!

Depends what model, but an SS is 7500lbs dry, I believe, so everybit of that, I would assume.

10k.

10k lift will do just fine...that's what mine sits on.

Captain YARRR 11-14-2011 06:15 PM

Okay, so 8k is cutting it too close and 10k is a nice margin?

MIlander 11-14-2011 07:10 PM

agree 10k the cost difference is not that great and you will need it when the fuel and water tanks are full along with with all the gear, coolers/beer etc. weight adds up quickly

Yes. I had a 10K under mine and it worked out great. You would be cutting is very close with an 8K.

What should I expect to pay for a 10k lift as I'm getting prices?

Mentalpause 11-15-2011 05:21 PM

Like anything else. Brand and quality dictates. Plus new vs used.

mine is from Florida Boat lifts... pro lift model...good lift... had one motor that burned up within a year but they did send a new one no charge to me what so ever.

MIlander...you have xr's behind that 32 with 600's???? how have they held up?
