Pros and Cons

Little break down, I have owned 3 baja's, never a Sunsation. With the baja I could put anyone behind the wheel with no qualms. I here that the Sunny is a drivers boat, from experience is this true? I know that every boat that I have owned, I had a adjustment time. To get the best performance out of the boat. Can anyone get behind the wheel like my (wife or daughter) Wicth can drive the Baja. Or should I not even experiment with it?

sure why not...just remember its a step bottom boat, dont make any sudden/fast turns with the outdrive tucked in or tabs down...

good luck..

My wife and daughter drove mine. The reference to drivers boat is more tweaking settings etc for best ride and performance. Not a big deal if you are just cruising at 40. Like boatnt said, you just need to be aware of the do's and don'ts of any step hull.

My wife even drove us home from the State Park one day in your Dominator. :eekdrop:

I'm not familiar with the Sunsations but I cannot put ANYONE behind the wheel of my Donzi 22C. Unless of course, they own one!

Drunk, sober, half asleep. The 288 drives itself.

Just a suggestion tho, if you don't have full hydraulic steering and your going 60+ and your hat goes to blow off DO NOT TAKE BOTH HANDS OFF THE WHEEL TO GRAB IT. If you do what you experience next will change your boating habits for life.

Just don't let Steve drive and you will be fine. Haha

You will be fine I'm sure. Just don't crank the wheel at speed, pretty much common sense in any boat.
