They run decent in some slop. With the smallies it will run close to 70 maybe a tick higher on a good day. That boat is local and shows well in person. Needs a trailer I believe.

Thanks. 700 hours on one motor 100 hours on the other. How are the 6.2 L engines for longevity.

How do these hulls hold up.

On this model and year what did Sunsations use for construction. Do they still use wood.

Holds up fine. Check transom, especially around exhaust holes. Hand laid with balsa core. Pretty light boat and easy on drives. Well maintained power should last1k hrs +.

How does everyone feel about the price with out a trailer?

He's not crazy asking that price. I have seen it listed a lil cheaper on another site. Do you have access to a used trailer? Can you splurge for a new trailer? Call Joe at Sunsation and see if he has any leads on used. Ask him what new would cost. Make an offer less the amt for a new trailer (at least it's a starting point) and meet where you both feel comfortable.
