25 outlaw vs Intiminator

Guys, I currently have a 25 Outlaw, happy with the boat but am already thinking about the next one, probably after next year. Does anyone have an actual comparison on these two boats regarding ride quality in the rough? I want to keep single power no bigger than 28' and from what I've heard the Sunsation could be perfect. Great looking boat, although I've never seen one up close. I've only seen 1 at a distance this season on our lake system in Northern Illinois. Any thoughts on this or other comments would be appreciated. Its never too early to start shopping!

About 6 month ago there was a thread comparing 25 Outlaw vs 28 Sunsation. I felt a more apples to apples comparison would have been a 25 Outlaw vs 25 Sunsation but nonetheless, the thread had lots of comments. You will just have to find it.

I realize this is incredibly last minute notice,
but the Sunsation Owners Rally is this weekend at Metro Beach on Lake St Clair. This would be a perfect time to see exactly what the 28 footer looks like, and will do. It's about 4 hours from downtown Chicago... what do you think?

Hey Bayley, thanks for the info on the owners rally, that would have been perfect, but just can't do this weekend. I think I'll head up to the Racine, Wi. in water show and see if the new Chicago Sunsation dealer has one up there. I usually go every year but missed it last year. I'll try searching for the mentioned previous thread. Hope the rally is a great time!

The -vs- thread mentioned above was apples to oranges. Comparing any 25 to a 28 almost 29 is laughable. Simply ride the two and tell us about the difference. It takes a boat of similar length and lots more weight to beat it in the rough but they'll cost mucho more. I own a 2002 288 with the 496HO and I'm ecstatic over the money I vested and what I gotten thus far in return. And I'm not saying that out of mfr loyalty neither. It's a very solid, fast, stock-single, big-water capable 29 footer that gives an outstanding return for the money...:D
