32 Dominator 2" shorter drives or not
 

1998 32 Dominator 540's 600 hp wont run I'm thinking about trying 2" shorter drives has anyone done this.

I have been wondering about this myself. Can't find any examples. The factory didn't seem to have a lot of feedback on it either.

What kind of speed are you seeing?

85 with 2 people or 6 it's like it just stops pulling... ran 30 four blades on it 5,500 and 32's at 5,300 same result 85

Although we have different setups I had the same problem....hit a wall at 80. If you take a look at the thread I listed I explained my issue.

Thanks for the help it looks like Imco 2" short lowers may be a good start.

What size carbs? Dynoed??

AED 850's on the dyno 1st did 601 2nd did 604 308 IronEagle heads 741 cams Dart intakes no port work on the heads or intake.
