Fuel tank sending unit for 288
Greetings folks. Been a long time since I jumped on the board!
Was wondering if anyone knew the depth of the 110 gallon fuel tank on the 288. Fuel gage stopped working Memorial Day weekend - shows empty. I replaced the sending unit one time before with the same float type unit but I understand there is a different unit I can put in that doesn't use a float. Just need to know the depth of the tank. Anyone else done this or know what depth the tank is? Here is what I am thinking about using. http://www.hardin-marine.com/c-1391-gauge-senders.aspx Unfortunately, the boat is down at the lake and I don't have access to crawl in and look and would like order it so I can put it in next weekend. Any help is much appreciated! |
Pretty sure the 288's only came with the 95 gallon tank. Best bet would be to call Joe at the factory.
