Congrats, he's one of the original Baja brothers, some of us move on to Sunny's & Cigs, but Baja is our roots.

That boat posted on Easter Sunday I saw the listing when I got home from church I think that was a great price for that boat and if it would have had a trailer I would have taken a serious look at it but I think the asking price was $78k and figure another $7k - $8k for a trailer was just a little more than I wanted to go. I Iike the blue power but I don't like the idea of the top end re-fresh every 250/300 hrs at several thousand per side. the 496 HO is a good reliable engine especially when you have to pay someone to do your mechanic work.

Congrats!

We've got a few around us, always liked the Sunnies, congrats.

The old style dominator was one of my favorite boats to own and drive. You can easily get it on plane without stressing the drives by burying the sticks. Mine never liked full trim, it would start to chine walk if it was fully trimmed at WOT. If you find some chine walk at WOT just slightly bump the trim down and it smooths out. It cruised around 40 at 2700 rpm and that was the sweet spot for fuel economy. It won't take you long to get the feel for the boat. Very fun boat to drive.

very nice !
