Default Help 32 dominator with single engine

Coming from a baja looking at dominators. Any single engines for sale? What reviews on the performance wise? How many are out there? Thanks

I wanted a 32' single engine myself but ended up with a twin 32'. After owning my twin engine Sunny for a year, there is no way i would want a single engine boat again..... docking a single engine 32' must be very difficult in the wind. Best of luck on your search!

Thanks for the info. Is yours a small block 32 or big block? And how's it run?

hey baja, we have the HO's and it is a blast. It will do a little over 80 top speed but most of the time we are running 50 - 60 and it handles great. Our previous boat was a 30' Outlaw with the same power and this boat is a nice step up in handling and quality.

Quite a few threads on these boats; more threads than actual boats I think. I know of 3 guys who have/had them; all in VA/MD/DC area. And yes, they take patience to dock in a breeze.

Be aware that there are at least 4 different 32' Sunsation models over the years, before you take CCs into consideration. Make sure you understand those differences before you get too deep. Some folks refer to different generations as "Dominators" but I think that only really applies to the first generation.

Dominators will be the non-stepped, low profile boats. Yes, they had the ventilated chine but that is not a step. Then there are the taller freeboard (hull sides taller, decks shared with the Dominators) twin step boats that started with the Innovator and also included every other trim variation (S/SS/SSR/XRT). The XRT does have its own unique fairing/dash setup but otherwise is no different than the S/SS/SSR. The twin step boat hulls are pretty much the same with the exception of around '08 when they added a small pad to the bottom. I don't know that the Innovators had the Laminar Flow Interrupters on the front of the hull but most of not all of the S/SS/SSR/XRT's will have them.
