Water pump removal

Hello,

I am going to replace the impeller on my 05 288 with the 496 ho. Has anyone replaced theirs and have any advice to make it go easier?

If you have a removeable bulk head between the engine and rear seat take it out, also get rid of water tank if its there unless you can sit next to the motor on that side. Watch vids on youtube to show what to due to get the groves out of the brass housing.
