Sweet! Reminds me of the old Sunsation Rallies. Speaking of which, Jeff were you around back then when they did the rally out of Metro in the early 2000's? I was on Lake St. Clair this past summer with some friends and was trying to describe the lunch stop for the old rallies to see if that place was still around but my pi$$ poor description of it didn't register with the guys I was with that boat the lake regularly. For the life of me I can't remember the name of the place but I swear it had 2 levels to it. I think the lunch was held on the upper level?

A lot of those water restaurants have closed down or changed names since then. Still some good locations to hit up out here. Cabana Blue will be the launching point for the run. The day before for the street party should be really nice. The street will be closed off with all the boats lined up and plenty of stuff to do. Lots of nice shops and places to eat there and a beach and park to hang out.

Thanks. They figured it must be gone now or has morphed into something else. Cabana Blue is nice. We ran into a bunch of the Skater guys there in August.

Already signed up and hotel booked. Looking forward to this, couldn't make it last year.

We were planning on coming with our 2nd parents and some other friends this year, but we are doing the Active Thunder Reunion the same weekend at Lake Cumberland. Hopefully next year we will make it to the Sunsation Run. Look forward to seeing your boat sometime this year at Cumberland or if you make it down to Ky Lake sometime.

We will be at Cumberland for the Thunder Run and Poker Run for sure, maybe a couple more too. Sure like to meet you sometime and see your boat, we boat out of Jamestown and stay on the 500 Row.
