28 with 500Efi?
 

Did Sunsation ever build any 28's with a 500 EFI? If so does anyone know the top speeds? I have been looking for a used one but have yet to see any. I called about the one listed on here last month but it was sold already.

Ya, they made a few with the HP in them. But like you, I had a hard time find one with an HP. The Sunsation you saw on here, was it in classifies section white with flames on the side and located in Michigan. I look at that boat your talking about, it was in great shape. If thats the one, I test drove it. I almost bought that one, but dealer backed out of the price that they said I could have it for. They agreed on a price, next day no deal. I will never go back there. Power boat test one with 500EFI It went 73.3. If you want, I can find out the month and year the boat was tested in.

The one I seen was in the classified section here with a 500 EFI offshore steering in Mich asking $79,999

We've built quite a few with HP500's over the years and best speed we've tested stock out of the box here at the factory is just over 75 mph. Great mid-range and an awesome ride in rough water. If I can help with any other information or questions, please do not hesitate to call me.

sounds great Dave! I have only seen 1 for sale so far with a 500 EFI since 2000.
I owned a 2000 with a 502 but I really want to see blue under the hatch.

I think Canada Jeff has the 500:p ??? And If I remember he had said he gets low 70's

Powerboat test the sunsation 28 500EFI in Decenber of 1999. It went 73.7 MPH.

so happens when you put a 575 in there :D
