Here they were trying to get a rise out of me. I said as long as it does 80+, I would be quite happy with the extra fuel economy...:p

Whats up with their new 39 ???
|
The 396 is going forward as planned and the pre- sold list is getting longer.:D
|
Rick,
I would love to come down for the HRPA poker run this August. I have a few friends up here on the Potomac who attended your run and said that it was well organized and a great time. Shoreline Marina (Mark), Your 32 midcabin is a great looking ride. I saw all bass boats that day and as soon as I heard big blocks I ran out on the deck of the house we were at. I was down at SML looking at property. I was shocked at how the prices have skyrocketed since I last checked 2 years ago. I would like to get a place for investment purposes, and my parents are looking to possibly retire there. The DC area is getting a little hectic for them. Thank you for the ramp offer. I look foward to meeting you as well. I just put the new engine/procharger in last September. It is not quite dialed in yet, but I can tell you that it is quick. I wanted something that would cruise well without spinning the engine too high for long distance runs. I achieved exactly that... now all I have to do is tame the top end. |

Whad'ya think about the fairing idea?...
|
Your new 32 is you Rick ! It is one fine water ride. The best to you.
|
Thanks Denny. I'm looking forward to seeing it up close and personal...;)
|
Denny, I agree on room and layout. We had both models in our trailer section of the show last week. Initially a large man thought the boat may be too small. As he climed in and positioned himself at the wheel, he was pleased at the guages, footrest and bolster comfort. Even commented on how it would support him in rough water.
The dash layout was commented on often as it is functional and attractive. Great job on the boats. |
Our Sunsation team appreciates your comments !!Thank-you Bill .:D
|
Reckless 32 congrats looks great good luck with her.

|
Rick, the boat looks fantastic!
Is that green and blue the same ones that were on the 28? |
Glad to see you chose a 'not so common' MT design. Yours will be a one of a kind :)
When is she being delivered? |
Cig that's correct. The pics are a little hazy, so you can't see the details and the color doesn't look so crisp.
hp500efi we're tracking to fire it up in my waters within the next few days weather permitting...;) |

Waiting on Dave to take the final pics of it all together which hopefully should be tomorrow (Friday).
|
Rick, the boat looks sweet!!!! When will it be delivered. I know you are chomping at the bit waiting for it.
Tommy |
Thanks Tommy, the real effect didn't really sink in until this week. Been busy with the deck project and shopping boatlifts lately.
The sooner they can setup a driver to truck it down, the sooner it's here. Shoreline Marine at Smith Mountain Lake will get it first to put the final seal of approval on it then in turn bring it and the keys to papa. I'm still awaiting "final" word, but my gut feeling is within the next 48-96 hours. I'm awaiting the final completed pics from Dave and THE final pic of it in shrink-wrap heading out of the parking lot... After that the next pic will be Ricky boy popping a bottle of Champagne grinning ear to ear with the shoreline and ChesBay Bridge in the background...:D |
I will personally pick it up for you Rick!
Hey Rick! I just got back from Canada on Tuesday and had to pick up one today in N.C. I am leaving Sunday in the am. Will load Monday at 8 am then back for testing. Mark Jr. will deliver to you on Tuesday. Sorry for the delay but this will get it to you faster. Boat looks HOT! and very custom. I will be at the Marina Saturday if we need to talk.
|
Sounds good Mark. I'm busy working the honey-do list this weekend anyway. The more I get done prior, the more I can play upon delivery. Say hey to the Algonac Posse for me while there...
|
Rick, you should borrow a trailer and come out to the Smith Mountain Poker run. This will be my first shot at it and since I entered, I guarantee the weather will be fantastic!:D
Boat looks great Rick...and not that you were the least bit interested in this aspect but it looks fast too...;) Hell, it looks fast sitting still!!! |
Lar I'm kicking it around but a lot of other things has to fall in place during that time period.
Looks fast? Yeah that was the special order part of it, to make it LOOK fast...;) |
