Get ready guys with 2-3 Million viewers in Ft. Lauderdale this weekend, History will be made. I don't know of another motor sport that can say that. This is one of the biggest positive for the sport in years. We all need to be ready and take advantage of it. Good luck and all and be safe.Thank you SBI/APBA/UIM for giving us this opportunety, I would not have thought it would have been possible, but proud to be part of it. We should all tip our hats to you for all your hard work and the steps you are taking to make SBI/APBA/UIM the biggest and best ever.

It is grea that there are going to be that many people but do not cloud the fact that they are the for the Air and Sea Show as well. I hope some day that Offshore Racing can bring in a crowd like that. Maybe We can all see it soon.

I heard we have a dress code, Tux and Tails? Only kidding, Flying in thursday am. The flying condo leaves tomorrow. Talk about pressure. 4 Days...motors dressed and in gimbals on drives on re-rig cockpit, Oh and fill the cooler. Leaving in the AM. Smitty. Dennis, at least the croud will see some hangin and bangin.....................

Don't be fooled by the early start, that beach will be FULL by then. People start to show at sunrise as it is the only way to get a "good" spot. It may not be the crowd that will be there at 2pm, but it will still be about 1/4 MILLION each day. :eek:

This will be good for all of powerboat racing.

Those that are there for the air show don't know what the hell SBI or APBA or OSS or UIM mean, but if only a small percentage of them get interested in the sport - we all win.

I just found out that one of nephews, who is in the Coast Guard, will be working the races. He is excited about it since he went to a few of my races way back when. He wants to take some of his buddies to the pits to show them around.
