NC Kilo Records
Just a few days to go and truly the Worlds fastest V-bottoms and Cats will be battling for the top gun position. All the records this year will be SBI/APBA/UIM records so there will be no gray area this year who is truly the fastest.
Smitty and the boys will be in the house and be interesting to see if they take a run at it ...best of luck if you do guys, you have a great boat. CRC will also be running it cant wait to see the numbers he throws out there, I watched them in Dania and they are very fast. 4 SS cats will be running, and as allows they will be a show in themselves, and a full class raing on Sunday. NC is one of the best race courses, and truly one of the fastest. This weekend will be a great warm up for Panama in 2 weeks, yes that right only 2 weeks after NC is Panama. I have never seen a better schedule and the huge amount of fans that the cities we have been to this year have draw. Offshore racing is back and if anyone isn't sure just take a look at what SBI/ APBA has done this year and next year will be even bigger with more cities and many new sponsors. The main reason for that has happen is due to the great teams that we have this year that have come out in big numbers and continue to grow every race. OK maybe the great site SBI has and the TV series has helped alittle ::)) Good luck to everyone this weekend, and be safe. |
Re: NC Kilo Records
Frank,
This sport continues to grow because of the efforts of guys like you. There is another handful of folks I could name, but won't at this time for fear that I may forget someone, that have helped JC and Pops make this a great year. These are some of the same folks that have given us some good advice to help our team grow both personally and professionally in this sport. We've got great sites, great promotions, a great schedule and great racing. I lost count of how many folks have asked me how they could get started in offshore racing, both as future sponsors and future teams. We now have the momentum to really make this sport what we all dream it can be. It's only going to get better next year! We're really disappointed we won't be able to make the NC race. You guys have fun and be safe...we'll see ya at PCB. Sean |

Anyone know why Peter Myers wasn't in the boat? According to the website is says Jeff Harris was throttling. I hope to see the new boat out front for the rest of the season! |
